Default Outlook Connector or POP3?

I've had Office 2007 since Feb 09 and I've used Outlook Connector to access
my Hotmail account. I now understand that Windows Live Hotmail can use POP3.
Has anyone tried both methods of accessing Hotmail to see which performs
better? Are there any pros/cons of using one over the other? If I use POP3,
how does that affect access to my Windows Live Calendar?

Much thanks,
David

POP3 is a completely different mail protocol. It only allows you to download
email from the main folder. So there is no support for uploading changes,
sent items or sync contacts and calendar items.

Which one is better for you completely depends on your needs.
