Can't "Free-form" Report Field Location
My apologies. I'm new to (2007 version) Access.
I used the "report wizard" to shorten the time creating a report, and now trying to move the fields around -- but their layout seems to be linked together? For example, I'm attempting to move one of the controls into the report header, so I can use it later when I filter by form? Do I have to "right-click" somewhere to allow me to move them around individually? Again, my apologies for asking "newbie" questions, but I'm new to (2007 version) Access. Right-click "layout remove" ? What's that? |

Can't "Free-form" Report Field Location
With the form in design view, select the controls and labels that you want to
free from the anchor. On the arrange ribbon, select ungroup. There are very good reasons that this setup is included in access 2007, there is a good video example I have seen on how to layout the controls when thay have anchors (ie all controls move together) If I can find the link I will repost for you. Does this help???? Kindest regards Mike B -- Advice to Posters. Check your post for replies or request for more information. Consider providing some feed back to the response you have recieved.
