Add-In Link from Excel to Access
Installed ACCLNK.EXE to my Excell 2002 program (Windows
XP/Microsoft Office XP Profession). I had to click Tools to add-on Access Link twice before I could select it from the "Data". I created a short 2 Fields 2 Row with Heading Excel Spreadsheet and named it "Test" and saved it in Excel. I selected "Create Access Database" from the Excel "Data" tool. Access DB opened but received this message from the Import Spreadsheet Wizard "This Microsoft Jet Database engine could not find the object test $R1C1:R3C27. Make sure the object exists and that you spelled its name path correctly." However, the Excel Spreadsheet pops-up with message that the spreadsheet was converted to Access Database; Then I get a message (pops up) that the File now Available test.xls, chose read-write to open to edit; and then the computer freezes. Should I uninstall this Add-In, or do you know how to fix it? Thank for your help. |
