yellow exclamation point
I just installed Microsoft Office XP Professional with no
problem. However, whenever I try to perfrom any function from the menu such as opening contacts I receive a dialog box with Microsoft Outlook with a yellow exclamation point. Also, included in the dialog box are the words could not open the item, try again. Could you please tell me what the problem might be and how to correct it?

It sounds like it is no longer able to open your mailbox. If you are attaching to an Exchange server, then create a new profile. If you are attaching to a local .pst file, then create a new profile pointing to it.
