Office H&S 2007 Won't Install
When I try to install Office Home and Student 2007 on my Vista Home Premium
system, I keep getting an installation error. Error message is vague with no explanation. The exact wording is "Microsoft Home and Student 2007 encountered an error during setup." I've completely uninstalled all previous versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. I've purged the registry of all references to Word. The disk installs fine on my daughter's computer. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Dave

That link was useless! It assumes that there is either something wrong
with your hardware or the disk. It does not go any further than that, nor does it offer any other help. I was hoping that someone here would offer some help with this installation issue. If you read my posts, you would see that the disk works fine in another system, I think this has something to do with the Windows Installer on this particular system, but that is only an educated guess...
