Error message when reinstalling Office 2007 Home & Student

We are trying to reinstall Office 2007 Home & Student after a trojan infected
our primary computer (GATEWAY Laptop with VISTA).

Trojan has been cleared and the VISTA operating system was reinstalled.

We purchased the Office 2007 H&S and tried to reinstall via the original CD.
It allows us to enter the Key Code and starts the installation, then about
half way through, it gives us this error message:
Set-up cannot find HomeStudentr.WW\HomeSrWW.cab.
Browse to valid installation source then click OK

No matter what source in the scroll-down we have tried, none work. We get
the message SOURCE INVALID.

Has anyone else experienced this problem or do you know how to correct?

We appreciate any help or suggestions that you can provide. Thank you.

Did you reinstall Vista from a gateway recovery disk set?
If so does any trial edition of Office exist that you have failed to
uninstall, together with the Activation assistant, and then rebooted?
