Default Office 97 Set-up Error (Can't find shell.dll file)

I have Windows XP with Office Standard Edition
installed. I purchased Access 97 off E-bay but received
Office 97 so I figured I'd just do a custom install.
When I hit the "install microsoft office" at the main
page, it tells me "Can't find shell.dll file", I close
that and then it says "Can't run 16 bit windows program"
and then "Cannot find file E (cd-rom)\Setup.exe (or one
of it's components). Check to ensure the path and
filename are correct and that all required libraries are
available. Can someone help me??
