Sortng Custom Views
I have been saving filtered criteria using 'custom views', icon on the
toolbar, however, as this list grows, I would like to sort the assigned names in alphabetical order within the custom views box. Is this possible? Tony --- Message posted from http://www.ExcelForum.com/ |

Like other dropdown lists in Excel, you can't modify the contents of the
Custom Views list. Instead of using the Custom View list, you could move the Custom Views command to one of your toolbars. Then, click on it to open the Custom Views dialog box, where the views are listed alphabetically -- Choose ToolsCustomize Click on the View menu in Excel's menu bar Drag the Custom Views command to one of your toolbars (or hold the Ctrl key and drag a copy of the command) Close the Customize dialog box.
