access error(?) message
we have access database file on windows network at our business. when i attempt to open database to add entries i get a "cannot lock file" message. have uninstalled/reinstalled access program to try to clear problem (no success). have called our tech rep and he can't understand why i'm unable to access this database from my desk. anyone have any suggestions for solution?

You must have full Read, Write, Create and Delete privileges on the network folder containing the .mdb file, because Access must create a ..ldb "lock" file when you open the table.
