Error Publisher 2007 with Internet Explorer 8
The short answer is that IE8 does not render anything on a Pub 2003 or 2007
page that is grouped together, and the navbar buttons are grouped together. While we wait for a patch from MSFT here is a workaround fix. Go to each page of your publication Edit Select All and then Arrange Ungroup. Now your buttons will show. However, this will also disengage the Publisher navbar wizard and if you want to add a new page and a new button to the navbar, this will not be automatically propagated throughout your site, and will require rebuilding the navbar. It does sound like the Office 2007 SP2 patch that is due out later this month *may* provide a permanent fix for this issue. If you would like a longer explanation of this issue, go to the web group and either repost your question or read today's posts. I just posted a long explanation of this issue this morning. news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsof...sher.webdesign or http://www.microsoft.com/office/comm...&lang=en&cr=US DavidF "Leonardo Dos" Leonardo wrote in message ... Internet Explorer 8 do not display correctly the menus or links. |
