Default projected presentation. letters cutoff

We do presentations in church, when we set the words up and preject them
usually some letters are cutoff?
The text box is the same size or close to the size of the full slide. We
have adjusted the prejector a little, but it still does it on some slides.
I realize that we can make the text box smaller, is there posssibly away to
view it like it will be on an infocus projector? Rather than viewing it and
havign to adjust the text box?
thanks Bruce

There are a couple of possibilities that could cause this.

The easiest is a mechanical problem. Is the projector positioned correctly?
Most modern projectors have some sort of a focus or set up screen that will
allow you to adjust the image to the screen. Make sure this is all visible
when shown on the screen.

Next would be the projectors screen resolution. If the screen output is not
set to the same as the display screen, you may get clipping of any overlay.
Set both of the monitor screen resolutions to the same setting (preferably
the projectors maximum, usually 1024 x 768). If you are using a wide format
laptop than at least set the projector screen resolution to 1024 x 768. To
do this, click on the following sequence. Start =. Control Panel = Display
= (tab) Settings -- You should see two monitor displays. Click on each of
them and report back what the settings (screen resolution) are.

There are more possibilities we can cover after we dismiss this one.
