shared calender in 03 doesnt open in 07
We currently have a shared calender that our team can see and put meetings
and events within outlook. With Outlook 2003 the calender works fine but once we upgraded to 2007, it does not recognize the .xnk file extension. |

The .xnk file extension is no longer supported in Outlook 2007, for security reasons, I imagine.

Is there a way around this, what can be done to still be able to use that
shared calendar? The calender is not in any global address book or anything?

Huh? Why would a calendar be in an address book?

When I go to FIle open other user folders in pops up our global address book.
Even when I get to browse to where the folder is it does not open. When I try to it says the file "name.xnk" is not a valid internet calernder file. "Sue Mosher [MVP-Outlook]" wrote: Huh? You still haven't told us where the calendar is. We don't know if it is:

Display the Folder List. Navigate in the Public Folders hierarchy to the folder. Drag it to Public Folders\Favorites. (Or use the equivalent command on the right-click menu.)
