Random Picture from folder on a slide
Hi,
I was wondering if it's possible to put a (or more) RANDOM picture(s) on a slide. I am creating a slideshow for a bar, and they want a dozen of photos added to the presentation every week. I was wondering if I can automate this by placing all photos in JPG format in the same folder and let powerpoint select a (or more) random picture and place it in a slide inside the presentation (the other slides are static) I hope someone can help me with this one. Thanks all and best regards, Frank Submitted via EggHeadCafe - Software Developer Portal of Choice Display Images in DataGrid Directly from Memory http://www.eggheadcafe.com/tutorials...n-datagri.aspx |

Exactly as David says.
If you don't use vba (and I wouldn't if you are not competant with it) then have the first ten (whatever) files in a folder, select all, and right click one rename. Choose the name PIC eg and all of the jpgs will be renamed PIC(1), PIC(2) etc Insert these as links and in future all you need do is delete them, add ten more and rename again. Takes seconds. -- john ATSIGN PPTAlchemy.co.uk Free PPT Hints, Tips and Tutorials http://www.pptalchemy.co.uk/powerpoi...tutorials.html "Frank van der Horst" wrote: Hi, I was wondering if it's possible to put a (or more) RANDOM picture(s) on a slide.
