Default How to print oversize with Publisher on large format printer

I am trying to print a 36x24 inch poster with Publisher 2003 on an HP
DesignJet 500 24. It keeps saying that those dimensions are too big for the
printer. (I have tried adding a form for that printer). I was able to do it
with an older computer, but not with my new one (same OS- XP, same office-
2003).

On the printer setup, it should be the size of the paper in the printer. In
Publisher you can have the 36x24 and then it will tile into several sheets
you will then need to assemble like a puzzle.

The following article is for Publisher 2002, but it addresses your issue.
