Screen refresh

I have a presentation that has some links associated with it. Also, three
photos on the first page.

Whenever I first open the presentation -- even if I can cancel update on the
links -- the screen still blinks; jumps about and refreshes itself three or
four times.

Any idea what may be causing that?

Probably a video driver problem. If the latest drivers don't help try this.

Right click on th desktop properties settings advanced troubleshoot

slide the slider for hardware accelleration back left
