Simply open the OE Address bookfileexport, save it and put it on a memory
stick etc, then put it on to your new PC hard drive, open the address book
and choose import.
Also see http://www.insideoe.com/files/wab.htm

Thanks for your response. Have tried that but cannot save address book as a
wab file, cannot then import into other OE. Can only save as a csv file.
Unable to import that.
Any more ideas please?

You are opening the Address book first and using the file menu from inside
the Address book?

The option to save as .wab does not exist on OE's file menuexport.

Default Transferring addresses to new computer

Hi John M,

There is various ways to accomplish this task.

Is your new computers operating system Windows Xp?

Is your old computer using the same or older version of a Windows operating
system?

Ken
