How do I make images change format when merging to email?
I have laid out the document as I'd like it to look and are well aware that
when I send it in the body of an email, the foramtting will be suject to the email program. I want to know if, like the text, I can fullproof the images to adjust and fit the email body as well. I am using a header and footer that are images. They remian the same size while the text moves appropritately. Any ideas? Thanks! |

Normally Word´s Header/footer content will not be depicted in an email in
general. In case that you insert pictures in line with text they will remain their size, but you can shrink/expand the email, like you described... Images will not resize in Word. Why don´t you create a table with a fixed width, then place your image in one row/column, the text in another one, "footer" picture in a third one ... This will keep everything in a good shape, the email body will become scrollbars once you shrink it, which looks more professional ... Feel free to give it a try, create something and send it via File-Mail Recipient to yourself... Kind regards Andrea "Newsletterist" wrote: I have laid out the document as I'd like it to look and are well aware that when I send it in the body of an email, the foramtting will be suject to the email program.
