Default all my fonts are missing in Word 2003

I just reinstalled winXP Pro, then Office 2003 - with all the updates for
both. When I open Word, all I see are 3 different "device Fonts" in
different pitches - Excel has most of them, Power point has some, but not all
fonts - I don't get it. Any ideas?

Check to see if you have a printer select as a default printer. You need
something even if you aren't using a printer with that computer.
