in creating a certificate, i applied a background color that appears to cover
the entire page but in print preview and when printed there is a white border
which is wider on left side than on right. How can I center this or get the
background to cover the entire page?
Thanks

=====================================
The white border may indicate the unprintable
area of your printer. Have a look at the following
article.

"How to find the maximum print area of your printer"
http://ed.mvps.org/Static.aspx?=Publisher/horidiag

And...it's possible that your printer driver needs
to be updated.
