When I work on the pages on the screen it shows pages 2 & 3 and the page
preview shows 2 & 3 but when I go to print page 3 comes out as page 5.

Is your publication setup as a booklet? When you go to print are you checking
current page or typing the page number? What version Publisher are you using?

Publisher 2007, 1/2 letter booklet, 5.5 x 8.5. Never had this problem
before, recently changed to Vista - could that be it?
On the screen the pages are in correct order, 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 but in print
preview it is 1,2,7,6,3,4,5,8

When you setup your publication, did you select booklet from the page setup?
Print preview will have page 8 next to page 1, page 2 next to page 7 and so on.
There is an icon on the print preview screen you can click to see all your
pages. When folded the pages will be in the correct sequence.
