Default Paste special formulas?

I've used the paste special formulas option after copying a column.
However it is still pasting the values aswell. Anybody have any ideas
why this is happening?

Using Excel 2000. Thanks

Because formulas result in values. If you don't want them to, then remove
the values that reside in the cells on which your formulas are calculating.

Hope it helps!
