Deleting Outlook 2000
I am using Outlook 2000, running XP for OS, and need to
completely delete the program and all the associated data files. When I delete the program, remove the mail server, and delete all olders, then re-install, the program comes up with all the old data and settings. How do I remove all associated files so I can re-install Outlook 2000 as if it were a new program? |

Deleting Outlook 2000
Dave,
to delete your complete Outlook settings with all entrys, you will need a lot of time to search also in the registry. An easy way to delete the Folders is to delete the *.pst files on your system. PST files are the files where Outlook (without Exchange Server) will store all information. A good website where Outlook saves information like Email accounts, Rules, Signatures etc. are this website: http://www.slipstick.com/config/backup.htm read this and you will know where Outlook save the information. -- Oliver Vukovics Public OutLook: Outlook Groupware without Exchange Public SyncTool: Outlook PST Synchronization (coming soon) www.outlookstore.com Dave wrote: I am using Outlook 2000, running XP for OS, and need to completely delete the program and all the associated data files.
