Windows IE8 SP3 OE 6

No source tabs when creating an html templet and saving to the desk top or a
folder outside of OE. Works okay if saved to the drafts folder in OE.

Worked fine before IE8 and SP3.

Thanks for your help.

Are you saving it as an eml file? Is Source Edit checked under View in the
saved template?

Yes. Tabs are there when I render the templet. No tabs after I "save as"
with eml extention.

I got it fixed. Windows Media Player 9 changed the unsent feature in the
register. Found a fix in the Stationery News Groups.
Thanks for helping.

You're welcome & thanks for the feedback. Were the templates just missing
Source - Edit, or did they appear as already sent, needing a Reply or
Forward? If the latter, I would have given you this.

Patch KB918766:
http://tinyurl.com/mx3r2

This patch addresses some of the issues that were caused by KB911567.

Address Book problems.
Unsent templates appearing as sent.
Manually compacting will now reset the registry counter to Zero in WinXP/SP2
and also sends a copy of your dbx files to the recycle bin as a temporary
backup.

To complete the fix for .eml templates, a registry change is needed. See:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/918766

Tom Koch also has this information at his site, along with a downloadable
Zip file to do the registry change for you. See:
http://www.insideoe.com/#kb918651
