I have tried to view the word file in reading layout and save it, but that
doesn't work.

Dee - I'm not sure what your question is. Are you trying to save the
document so that when you print it, it comes out looking like the "reading
layout" - two pages per sheet? If that is the case, you can change the print
layout by selecting File, Page Setup, Margins. Near the middle of the box,
you'll see Pages, with "Multiple Pages" below it. Choose the "2 pages per
sheet" option from the drop down box.

If I've misunderstood your question, please give me some more detail and
I'll try to h elp you out.

Hope this helps!

Reading Layout view is a new view in Word 2003. There is a setting governing
it on the General tab of Tools | Options. Most users want to disable this
option rather than enable it.
