Multiple input form
Hi all,
I have a table with 300 fields. I can not create the input form on one page form, because there are more than 750 controls for 300 fields. Thus, I divided 300 fields to three different input forms, e.g. form1, form2, and form3. How can I connect these form together while input. For example, when finish input form1, then open form2 with the same ID as the previous ID in form1. Thanks |

I've needed as many as 60 fields in a table... twice in the past twenty years. I cannot imagine any Entity with 300 unique attributes - is there any way that you can normalize this table into two or more one-to-many relationships? You'll need to pass the ID in the OpenArgs property of the OpenForm method, and then set the Default property of the ID in the second form's Open event. But I'd VERY strongly suggest that you consider normalizing the table structure and working in the relational paradigm, rather than struggling against Access' limitations to force it to handle a non-normalized spreadsheet!
