Cant read docs or pics-word 2007

Unhappy Cant read docs or pics-word 2007

Hi,I am new here.I have a question that I hope the admin can answer.I just purchased Word 2007 ..looks kinda cool however,..everytime i click on a saved picture(s) from my file ,I get these weird encrypted message or codes in the file conversion box.The same goes for docs.Is there something I need to do to convert this back to normal?..ty...btw..i never had this problem with word 2003...Thanx..Dave

First off... there's no "admin" here. These newsgroups are for peer support;
the people who answer are not Microsoft employees but volunteers donating time
to answer questions. You are welcome to post answers (hopefully correct and
well-researched ones g) yourself, just as anyone else is.

Secondly, you're asking in the wrong place. This group is for the database
software Microsoft Access. There are a number of groups discussing Microsoft
Word; scroll down the list of subject areas on the (somewhat confusing)
webpage and post your question there. It always helps to post the actual error
message; what looks cryptic to you may well be very familiar to the folks with
more experience. Good luck!
