Default Excel 2007 cell grid lines

How do I display grid lines on a worksheet.
Help tells me to tick the Grid lines box on the Show/Hide menu but when I do
this nothing happens.

Go to Tools menu, click Options, click View, and under windows options,
select the Gridlines check box to show the gridlines.

Hope it helps,
Tina

In EXCEL 2007:-

View / Show/Hide group / make sure that Gridlines has a tick in it.

Please hit Yes if my comments have helped.

Thanks.

Thanks for that.

I got there in the end. For some unexplained reason the default colour for
the grid lines was set to WHITE. They were there all the time but not
visible!!

Come back Excel 2003 all is forgiven.
