how do I change the setting for number of recipients allowed?
I often send messages to a large number of recipients and sometimes get a
message from "systems administrator" that says "Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients .... to many recipients". |

how do I change the setting for number of recipients allowed?
Hi GL at DCL,
how do you sent this emails? All contacts in the "To" filed or in the CC/BCC field or in a Distribution List? Often "Providers" or Mail servers allow only 25 receipients or other limitations. Try "Mail Merge with Outlook" to send the same email to several users. This will send for every receipients an own seperate Email. http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/ou...866951033.aspx -- Oliver Vukovics Share Outlook without Exchange (Vista Ready): Public ShareFolder Synchronize Outlook between PC and Notebook: Public SyncTool http://www.publicshareware.com "GL at DCL" GL at schrieb im Newsbeitrag ... Thanks Oliver
I used BCC. I didn't want to spend time setting up mail merge ..... my previous version (2003) used to give the option where max recipients was large to say that it was ok to send, Outlook 2007 doesn't do that and I can't find anything that talks about the max no permitted or how to override this ...... Your mail provider, however, does. Contact them. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |
