Read Only Forms
Make sure that the underlying query allows data adding/editing. If the query
is editable, then look on the Data tab of the form's property sheet, and changes anything that asks "Allow" to yes. -- Arvin Meyer, MCP, MVP http://www.datastrat.com http://www.mvps.org/access http://www.accessmvp.com "Laura" wrote in message ... Read Only Forms
If the source of the form is not editable, the form won't be either. The
table or query that runs the form should NOT have the arrow and asterisk at the bottom greyed out. Also make sure the link master and child fields are set properly and that allowedits is set to YES. -- Milton Purdy ACCESS State of Arkansas "Laura" wrote: I have created a form containing subforms. For example, how are the forms related to each-other? The more info you provide, the better chance of getting a useful answer. Keith. www.keithwilby.co.uk |
