Office Outlook Connector - Choice to Sync Contacts?
I recieved a message from Windows Live Hotmail saying I must download Outlook
Connector by 9/1 in order to continue using my Outlook 2007 with my hotmail account. While i'd like to continue t sync my with my messages online, what if I don't want to sync my contacts online? Do I have a choice? There are some contacts I would prefer not be shown online but rather stored only on my personal computer. |

Start using a POP account. See this: http://mailcall.spaces.live.com/blog...33!49799.entry -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |

Office Outlook Connector - Choice to Sync Contacts?
Make a second pst and keep these contacts in it - if you have outlook
already configured for another account, do nothing - the hotmail account will not sync with other folders, only the ones created by the connector. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: You can access this newsgroup by visiting http://www.microsoft.com/office/comm...s/default.mspx or point your newsreader to msnews.microsoft.com.
