Cannot delete extra page
I am working on a resume that was created using an earlier version of Word.
It is two pages long but the document has a third page. When looking at the document with the paragraph information there is a paragraph on the third page but when I try to delete it I cannot using backspace, delete or any highlighting options I can find. Is there any way to just delete a page, without using formatting? I really would just like to save pages 1 and 2 as a pdf. It looks really bad to send a resume in a pdf with an extra page. I don't want to create the impression that I can't figure out word. But the formatting is too nice to start over. Can you help me? Thanks |

The résumé is very likely set up as a table, and there has to be a text
paragraph after a table at the end of a document. See the relevant portion of http://sbarnhill.mvps.org/WordFAQs/BlankPage.htm -- Suzanne S. If the document ends with a table (many résumé templates make use of table
formatting), you won't be able to delete the paragraph mark following the table. What you can do is select the paragraph mark and format it in 1 pt font size, zero spacing before/after, line spacing Exactly 1 pt. You can also format it as hidden. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "humboldtbio" wrote in message ... I am working on a resume that was created using an earlier version of Word.
