Default What to say to a user who wants to write their own reports?

I have just finished developing a quite complex database (about 50 tables and
100 queries) with some canned reports. There are many data relationships.

Ita all done, tested and signed-off on, but now the user has asked "will I
be able to modify the reports or create my own?"

Basically, I said "No, but I can design an export capability to send data to
Excel".

Any ideas/comments?

Are you asking how to create the export capability or if your answer was
appropriate?
You might want to download and review the query by form applet available at

I could not find anything like that in the list of links. Am I missing
something?
