Default Safe Mode - Sceen Hang - How to Repair

I have Windows XP Prof SP 2 and Outlook 2007
When I start Oulook, it starts, asks for the password, I type the correct
password, the SCREEN HANGS.
Then I go to task manager and abort the process.
Then I again start the Outlook, it tells me that the earlier time Outlook
was not closed properly and askes me if I want to start the Outlook in Safe
Mode - Yes / No ? It also informs me that I can fix the problem after I start
the OUtlook in Safe Mode.
I select Yes.
This time after typing the password, the outlook starts in safe mode.
This happens repeatedly. Even if I properly close the outlook (which has
been started in Safe Mode), I encounter the same problem again. Every time I
have to go through the above routine. I have now learned after going through
the earlier threads as to how to start the outlook directly in safe mode by
typing outlook /safe commad at run or holding down the ctrl key while
starting the outlook.
How to fix this problem so that I can start the outlook in Normal Mode ?

It depends on the issue you are having.
The issue s probably caused by a corrupt dat-file or an by an addin that you
have installed.
