Default OE6 and mulitple user profiles

I have XP Pro and have been using OE6 on my admin profile. I would like to
split off my wife's stuff and have her access her email via OE6 from her
limited user profile. I am having trouble finding out how to do this. Is
there a primer or resource that would spell this out for me (if it is even
do-able)?

Thanks, Lar

I should probably add that OE does not currently even show on her Programs
list.

Hi Larry,

In answer to your first query.

have her access her email via OE6 from her limited user profile

Most likely, yes, how is she doing it now?

However you have to correct the problem in your second query.

OE does not currently even show on her Programs list.

I would temporary give her account Admin Profile, figure out why OE isn't
there, then change it back to Limited.

Hi Ken,

1. "How is she accessing now?"- She is accessing the email through my
profile.

2. "OE not in her Program List"- Her profile was established after OE was
installed?

3. What is supposed to happen when OE is installed and a user profile is
added later?

Thanks, Lar

She is accessing the email through my profile.

Is she using her own Outlook Express identity in your profile?

Have you been able to get her profile to open Outlook Express program?

Hi Ken,
Is she using her own Outlook Express identity in your profile?

NO. I gave her an identity and changed her profile to Admin,
rebooted, but still no OE.

Have you been able to get her profile to open Outlook Express program?

NO. No icons, no links and no OE in her c:/program files folder.

Hi Larry,

I ask again, how is she accessing her email on your profile?

As to why Outlook Express doesn't appear in her profile, I have no idea.

As a test you might try activating Guest User, does it have Outlook Express
program available?

If you create another profile, does it have Outlook Express program
available?

I've read all replies to this thread as of this post.

Full Windows version, please (e.g., WinXP SP3)?

Has Windows Live Mail ever been installed in her User Account, Larry? Is MS
Outlook installed?

In her User Account, see if...

START | RUN | msimn.exe | OK

....invokes OE.

Hi Ken,

All of our emails are earthlink.net so she has an account in my user
profile's OE6. (hope that answers your question).

I checked my son's profile and I created a new admin user profile, too. No
OE. Thanks,

Lar
