Default Visio 2000 only prints to default printer

I recently installed SP2 for Visio 2000 and now have the unfortunate ability to print only to the default printer. I have attempted to select alternate printers in the printing dialog boxes but the end result always prints on my default printer.

Anyone have any similar experiences and hopefully solutions ?

Default Visio 2000 only prints to default printer

Bill,

Yep. Back on April 6, Zuo Lin and myself noted this same problem after installing Visio 2000 SP2. Zuo went on to suggest there were other problems with SP2, but I have not seen any other than the printing.

On April 15th, Mark Nelson from MS confirmed the problem in the New User forum area, saying "We are aware fo the issue and are investigating the problem."

If they aren't going to release a fix for this in a timely manner, then I think they should at least update the SP2 download site to warn users that if they install SP2 they could experience printer problems ... AND that there is no way to UNINSTALL SP2. It appears they've known about the issue for almost two months now, and have done nothing to update the SP2 patch, or warn users about using the existing SP2 patch.

That's almost the only reason I'm coming in and out of the forum now and again, looking for Visio 2000 SP2 update information.

Best of luck.
