OE Toolbar Button (Majik's Site)
Windows XPSP3, OE6, IE7; Plenty of RAM & HHD space. Continuous checks for
Virus/Malware 1.4Ghz, VIA Technologies, Inc. 8 kilobyte primary memory cache, 256 kilobyte secondary memory cache, P4X266-8233, Enclosure Type: Desktop V2 Premier, Windows XP (Home-GOLD) SP3, Calvary External USB 400 GB Hard Drive, 1.5 GB Ram, Upgraded PSU, Belarc Advisor, Multimedia - lists, MPU-401 Compatible MIDI Device - Realtek AC'97 Audio for VIA (R) Audio Controller - Standard Game Port. Circuit Board: P4X266-8233, Bus Clock: 100 megahertz, BIOS: Award Software International, Inc. 6.00 PG 09/05/2001, Virus/Malware Protection - Windows Live One Care, MS Windows Malicious SW Removal Tool, TrojanHunter Guard, SUPERAntiSpyware, HiJackThis, Spybot Search & Destroy, RegCure, CCleaner. IE7 Add On's enabled: Adobe PDF Reader Link; IE7 Pro Preferences & BHO; ShockWave Flash Object; Sun Java Console: PROJECT: To install OE Tool's on the OE View toolbar and enable OE Quick Backup from the toolbar. Progress: (1). I downloaded and installed both OE Tools & OE Quick Backup. The Tools were added to the View Toolbar, An Icon was placed in my systray where I could re-run the tools for the View Toolbar if/when necessary (In case the tools did not automatically load on the Toolbar). (3). OE Quick Backup was previously installed on my OS and I was making backups to a External Drive. Instructions for using Backup in OE Tools requires Quick Backup be installed into Button 7: Run Majik's free OEQB program (www.oehelp.com/OEBackup/) OEQB.exe must be in the same directory as OETool.exe (4) I copied OEQB.exe to the same folder as OE Tool.exe and when going back to the OE toolbar button it does not work. (5). The error message is that OEQB.exe must be in the same directory as OE Tool.exe. (evidently it is not) What am I doing wrong? Thanks for any help TIA |

= When composing posts in Word, please only use ENTER to begin a new
paragraph. To begin a new line, use Shift+Enter. (4) I copied OEQB.exe to the same folder as OE Tool.exe and when going back to the OE toolbar button it does not work. WYSIWYG: OEQB and OETool must be *installed* in the same folder, not just located in the same folder. -- ~PA Bear WMB wrote: Windows XPSP3, OE6, IE7; Plenty of RAM & HHD space.
