Organisation Chart Wizrad
Hi,
I am trying to create an organisation structure chart for departments (with 400 entries) using the chart wizard from an excel file and have many people reporting to many others (many reporting lines). It seems Visio is separating each line of entity onto a different page. My departments are split further into workgroups which is a subsection of each department. Can anyone tell me how I may group the information the way I want it to be grouped as opposed to have 75 pages worth of data which does not show the true hierarchy. Thanks, Imran |

I think my problem is similar..
I saw Imran's message on 6/1 having been placed there only a few hours earlier - and was waiting and hoping to see the answer to his question I am trying to create an organiation chart from a database conisisting of several hundred entries. As a result in order to see a comprehensive structure it is necessary to summarize subordinates within the the manager's box . or departmentally, -with levels of the subordinates summarized and typed in like the sample below ____________________________________ - _____________|____________ ____________________ | Aviation Safety Unit | | Budget Unit | | (14 persons | | (10 persons) | | 1 L-4, 4 L-3, 2-L-2, 6 S,1 G | | etc | | | | | |________________________| Help pleeease!!
