in the range that contains the lookup value, there are
multiple or duplicate entries, is there a function or
formula that gives all possible finds rather than the

If the functions in the freely downloadable file at
http://home.pacbell.net/beban are available to your
workbook, the
VLookups function does.

followed the download and indeed the vlookups function
does return multiple finds. however, it only shows the
multiple finds in the formula wizard box and not on the
spreadsheet after pressing enter. what's the fix? thanks.

Default VLOOKUP

Array enter (i.e., enter with Ctrl+Shft+Enter instead of just Enter)
into a column of cells sufficiently large to accommodate the several
occurrences.
