Default Lost Calendar items when upgrading to 2003 from 2000

I think I clicked the wrong choice when I upgraded from Office 2000 Pro to
2003 Standard. There was a long list of outdated reminders and I dismissed
them. Now I have many missing items from my calendar. Is there any way to
recover the missing items? I located the .pst file with today's date and
imported it but the missing items did not show on the calendar.

Importing is never the correct method to migrate your Outlook data.

Thank you but the install program for 2003 Standard said it would save
(migrate?) the data for me. Somehow it migrated old data, appointments long
since deleted. I just realized on closer inspection of the appointments that
are there that those appointments are from a long time ago and the current
appointments are not there. How do I find and restore the correct file? How
can I eliminate these old entries? Thanks.

Look for any files with a .pst extension, such as archive.pst, outlook.pst,
etc. When you find each one, open it using File-Open-Outlook Data File.
Examine each .pst contents to see which is your most current .pst. Then you
have the choice to drag and drop items from the others to the current .pst
file.
