Seem to be permanently logged out
I logged out of my (Office Outlook Web Access) exchange email account the
other day and now can not log back in. Every time I try I get this message … You have successfully logged off from Outlook Web Access. We recommend that you close all browser windows at this time. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can get around this??? Thanks in advance. |

Delete the cookies or if using IE8, use an Inprivate Browsing session.

Are you still running the same Windows session now as you were before (i.e., has Windows been running and you still logged on since your first OWA use)? If so, have you look in the Processes tab of Task Manager after you thought you closed IE8 to see if there were any remnant instances of iexplore.exe still loaded? Logged out of your Windows session and logged back in yet? Tried rebooting yet? Diane mentioned purging the web browser's cookies which you said didn't help. Did you make sure ALL cookies got purged? If the Preserve option is enabled under the delete settings then cookies for those sites don't get purged. |

You know that was turned on, I turned it off and deleted again and amazingly
it still won't work! I tries another computer and I'm able to log on fine so the issue has got to be on this one...did a system restore to a day before the problem and still won't budge. Very puzzling... Thank you for your advice though.
