Preserving header information after combining and decoding?
Well, I still deal with saving thread posts. After I save all messages in a
thread and perform combine and decode all header information are gone. Is there a way to preserve at least FROM and SUBJECT field? Sincerely, MD |

You can save the messages outside of OE (drag into WInExplorer or use =
DBXpress or DBXtract (www.oehelp.com)) and then go to the output = directory and at the command prompt type: copy *.eml onfile.txt and that will leave all the header info. steve "Michael Drach" wrote in message = ... Preserving header information after combining and decoding?
Uh, huh, much job to do! In fact, I don't need a whole header, it would be
ideal to have only SUBJECT, FROM and DATE field and besides I would like to save it automatically with name of the first message in the thread (don't like much typing)!! Do I ask to much ;-)! Thanks, MD "Steve Cochran" wrote in message ...
