Word2K stuck on load
Sorry if this is the wrong forum. I could not find an active word
forum. Please refer me to a passing forum.. Lately, I have a problem with Word 2K on load. The application freezes as soon as it starts. I have to shut it down and launch it manually via the command prompt ie winword.exe /a. The other Office 2K app's (Excel, PPT, Access, FrontPage, etc.) work fine. I use these apps only occasionally, so I do not want to upgrade. (System: XP Windows Home Ed.) Everything worked great until a few weeks ago. Thanks for sharing some hints.
