Drag and drop in Office 2007 with Vista

I have been trying to drag and drop text in Office 2007 with the Vista OS,
and I can't seem to get it to work. Is it possible to drag and drop in
Office 2007 with Vista? I didn't have this problem with Windows XP. Thanks!

I can affirm that it does work... But, I saw a problem recently, after
updating a Synoptics touchpad's driver, where all dragging and dropping in
Windows Vista stopped working... until I opened and closed the mouse control
panel.

The problem has not recurred.

But, I have read that others have encountered the problem you are
encountering, and that starting/stopping the mouse control panel didn't fix
it for them. Are you using a laptop with a touch pad? Do you have access to
a USB mouse? If so, connect it, and see if drag and drop now works.

If it does--and even if it does not--you might try updating your mouse
driver.
