Default Can one cut&paste text with Tracked Changes, and keep the Tracks?

I do a lot of editing in Word 2003. Naturally I want my clients to be able to
see the exact changes I made, so I use Tracked Changes. However, if I
realize that a whole paragraph or section needs to be moved, the Tracked
Changes are lost. There doesn't seem to be anything like Paste Special with
keep tracking or anything else I can find. Thanks a lot for any help!

Turn off Track Changes, cut, paste, and turn on Track Changes.

Dear G-n-O: Boy, am I embarrased! I never thought to try anything so

It's really counterintuitive, so you can be forgiven for not thinking of it.
