I can't find where to compress photos and graphics in Powerpoint 7
presentation to lower the byte size of presentation. Can you help? Thjis was soo much easier in the previous PowerPoint version. BTW-I hate the new version and I am/was a Powerpoint Ninja. You added some neat Photoshopie features but made everything else so much harder.....Aaaaargh!! |

Compressing Graphics in Powerpoint Windows 7
In PowerPoint 2007, pictures are automatically compressed when you save a
presentation. See this article for more info: http://www.pptfaq.com/FAQ00862.htm If you want to compress an individual pic (and change the compression settings): select the picture, click the Picture Tools tab and you'll find Compress Pictures in the upper left. To change settings for the entire presentation: select Save As, then click the Tools drop-down, Compress Pictures. There are other compression tools available that do a better job retaining image quality during compression. I prefer NX PowerLite: http://www.pptfaq.com/FAQ00862.htm Julie Terberg Microsoft PowerPoint MVP "Navy Chief" Navy wrote in message ...
