Default Incorrect Page Layout

I have a document that was sent to me but when the sender views it, it has a
total of 3 pages, whereas it incorrectly formats in on my computer as 6
pages. I then try it on another PC I have access it to and it displays as 3
pages. I have re-installed Word on my own PC but the problem still exists.
What could possibly be wrong with the document or the settings in Word?

Thanks.

Does that mean I need the template used by the sender or is it something I am
doing on my end? The version of Word on my PC displays and prints it as 6
pages while if I use a PC right next to me it displays fine. I am assuming
this narrows down to my PC being the issue or my configuration of Word. How
can I change it so that it keeps the sources formatting?

Thanks.

Add to this, I do not have it ticked so that it will automatically update a
style and im pretty sure the sender doesnt either, or it would not have
worked on another PC. I do not have the template the sender is using either
which is not normal.dot

Does the document contain manual page breaks? See
