How to unistall Office XP without the CD
We changed user accounts on a PC so it now needs the CD to setup under a new
account. The Office CD that came with the computer is a different addition and does not work. Perhaps a user in the past did an unauthorized upgrade to Office XP pro with a CD from home - we don't know. We don't have the correct CD and it will not even let us uninstall OfficeXP Pro without the Office XP Pro CD. Is there a way to force an unistall of Office without the CD, or do we have to reformat ? Thanks |

Thanks A dirty way to do it is to delete all the office and word excel etc folders then go through the registry and delete any reference to microsoft office, Word, Excel etc. then run a reg cleaner. I have done that. Just keep using find and deleting the reg keys making sure it is only office keys you are deleting Ron |
