Default cell to change colour at given date - how to

Ken- thanks for solving my original problem. One follow up question.

If I put a standard formula in A1 say =A2+B2, I can drag that to the cells
below and it will change for each cell =A3+B3 etc

If I set up A1 with a conditional format say =(TODAY()-$A$1)30, is there
any short cut that I can use to drag the format to other cells with the same
automatic changes eg =(TODAY()-$A$2)30, =(TODAY()-$A$3)30 etc

Change 'cell value is' to 'formula is' and put in

=(TODAY()-$C$4)30

Click on the format button and choose either a font colour or

pattern
colour, or both, to come
into effect when that condition is true.

What it basically does is to say if Today's date less the date in

th
eclle
is greater than 30, do
this to the format.
