Default office enterprise install ok but programs won't run-not enough mem

I've tried several times to install office 2007 enterprise with no luck. The
install message says it installed correctly but when I try to run excel or
word, it says I don't have enough memory. I know that's not the problem
because I have 4GB on a new HP laptop.

Help!

Contact MS or the IT department from where you purchased the Office Enterprise. See
