I need to convert a presentation file into a microsoft program, whether it be
word or powerpoint or excel. Something I can work with.

Copy to hd and open it, in whatever app it was created with, having ensured

Do you have CorelDraw? The .cdr format is a CorelDraw image. Corel Presentation
may have a .cmx or if it is a show it will have a .shw. There are converters around.
